Matador spinach produces smooth, dark green, oval leaves with a sweet flavor and tender texture. Enjoy the young leaves in salad mixes or allow them to mature for cooked dishes. This productive, easy-to-clean variety is cold hardy, heat tolerant, and slow to bolt in warm weather. Plants grow under 12" tall in full sun to part shade, perform well in containers, and mature in approximately 28–48 days. Matador is especially well suited for fall harvests.
