Serrano Chile Pepper Seeds

Serrano is a prolific heirloom chile pepper with the distinctive spicy flavor used in salsas, dressings, sauces, and many other dishes. The crisp, thick-fleshed peppers grow approximately 2"–3" long, beginning green and ripening to red. Rated at 10,000–20,000 Scoville heat units, they range from medium-hot to hot. Plants grow more than 24" tall, perform well in containers, and mature approximately 75–90 days after transplanting in full sun. Protect this frost-sensitive variety from cold temperatures.
