A very strictly weeping palmate that looks like no other Japanese Maple on the market. In a container, the branches reach far beyond the bottom of the pot, so in the ground the branching would be lovely on a slope or over the edge of water where the true length can be seen. Since 'Ryusen' is later to emerge than most weeping trees, it is well-suited to climates with late spring freezes.
