Organic Palla Rossa Mavrik Radicchio produces round, deep-red heads with crisp white ribs and a distinctive mildly bitter flavor. Cool weather helps develop its rich color, while frost can mellow and sweeten the flavor. This organic variety is excellent fresh in salads or grilled and sauteed for a softer, more balanced taste.
