Organic Touchstone Gold is an heirloom beet with brilliant golden, globe-shaped roots that reach up to 3" in diameter. Sweeter and less earthy tasting than many red beets, it brings vibrant color and mild flavor to fresh and cooked dishes. This improved golden variety offers reliable germination and strong garden performance and is best harvested when roots are 1"–3" across. The edible tops grow 12"–24" tall. Grow this frost-tolerant beet in full sun and harvest in approximately 85–90 days.
