Organic Moskvich is an early-producing, indeterminate tomato developed in Russia during the early 1970s. The vigorous vines produce deep red, globe-shaped fruits weighing approximately 4–6 oz. More tolerant of cool weather than many tomato varieties, Moskvich begins producing early and continues setting full-sized fruit as temperatures cool late in the season. Plants mature in approximately 60–75 days after transplanting and grow best in full sun with a cage, stake, or trellis for support. Although cold tolerant, the plants remain frost sensitive.
