Giant mahogany-red blooms bring a rich, velvety look to the late spring garden and make an excellent choice for cut flower bouquets. This German iris requires excellent drainage and does not tolerate wet feet; plant with the top of the rhizome exposed. Divide in late summer every few years to thin clumps and encourage strong flowering.
