Specific assembly instructions are included with each Campania fountain purchase. Please verify that all instructions and fountain parts are included before setting up your fountain.


General Setup Guidelines


Set the fountain on a flat, level surface to ensure proper water flow.

Prepare a stable base of gravel, flagstone, or another hardscaping material to maintain stability.

Test the pump before assembly by placing it in a bucket of water and operating it to ensure proper function.

Connect the fountain pump only to a properly grounded 110-volt (AC only) GFCI-protected receptacle.


Ongoing Care & Maintenance


Maintain a consistent water level so the pump remains fully submerged. Running the pump without sufficient water will cause damage. Frequency of refilling depends on weather and water flow.

Keep the pump's inflow area free of debris to ensure proper circulation. Periodically clean the pump to extend its lifespan.
Clean the fountain with mild soap and a soft-bristle brush as needed. Do not use bleach, as it may alter the patina.

Use an algaecide, available at garden or pond supply shops, to control algae buildup.

To preserve the finish, apply a clear acrylic spray rated for outdoor use once a year.


Winter Care

Remove and store the pump indoors; pumps come with a one-year manufacturer warranty.

Drain and completely dry the fountain before the first freeze.

If applicable, disconnect and store copper rings, LED lighting kits, and transformers indoors for the winter.

Cover the fountain with a properly fitted fountain cover--not a tarp or plastic sheet--to prevent moisture damage.
Check the cover weekly, especially after storms or heavy snowfall, to ensure it remains secure.
