A low-growing, spreading iris that thrives in part shade to nearly full shade, making it an excellent choice for woodland gardens and naturalized areas. When planted in full sun, soil should be kept consistently moist for best performance. Native to wooded slopes and bluffs of the Ozark region, it brings delicate spring color to shaded landscapes.
