Coco Liner Tip

Soak dry coco liners in water before placing them in baskets or planters. This helps soften the stiff coir fibers so the liner can mold more easily to the frame and hold its shape without shifting or gaping.

For better moisture retention, line the inside of the coco liner with a punctured plastic bag, such as a reused soil bag. This helps slow water loss while still allowing drainage and keeping the natural coco liner visible from the outside.
