The Catalpa Tree features large heart-shaped leaves and twisted branches that create a beautiful shade tree. In May, it blooms with clusters of white, orchid-like flowers spotted with purple and yellow, followed by long seed pods. Be cautious when planting near walkways, as the flowers and fruit can become slippery.
